Typhoon Lagoon Reopens in January — Check Your Winter Water-Park Plans

Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on 27 January 2027, giving winter visitors a date to put beside the water-park day in their Orlando plans. Whether January gives you swimming weather is, of course, a separate negotiation with Florida.
Which Disney water park will be open?
Blizzard Beach is welcoming guests until 26 January, with Typhoon Lagoon reopening the following day. If your holiday crosses that changeover, check the park and opening hours for the day you actually want to visit before arranging transport.
A seasonal pass — with a fixed end date
Disney’s Water Park Seasonal Pass costs $89 plus tax for ages 10 and over, or $83 plus tax for children aged 3–9. It is valid through 15 May 2027, with blockout dates of 19–21 February and 20–28 March 2027.
That is a fixed seasonal window, not a year of admission from whenever you first use it. Those March exclusions are worth checking particularly carefully if you are planning a spring holiday.
It also includes one round of miniature golf, starting before 4pm, at either Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens on one date during the pass window. That means one round in total, rather than one every day.
Check the ticket you already have first
Before buying extra water-park admission, check what your existing holiday ticket includes. Paying twice for the same park day is an impressively quick way to undo a bargain. Our annual-pass guide for UK visitors explains the difference between holiday tickets, annual passes and their extras.
An opening date does not tell you whether a particular slide or pool will suit your access needs. Check the individual attraction’s access information when planning your day; this announcement does not establish any changes to boarding, transfers or water access.
