Overview
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is an indoor Audio-Animatronic musical show featuring a room full of singing birds, flowers and tiki figures.
The show is hosted by José, Michael, Pierre and Fritz, who lead a succession of musical numbers while dozens of characters around the theatre gradually join in.
Rather than watching a single stage, the performance surrounds the audience. Birds hang overhead, flowers sing from the walls and tiki figures come to life around the room.
The attraction lasts around 15 minutes and is completely stationary, making it one of the gentlest experiences in Magic Kingdom.
Queue Details
The waiting area is outdoors but covered, beneath the attraction’s tropical-style roof.
Guests gather in the pre-show area before the theatre doors open for the next performance.
Wheelchair and ECV users can remain in their mobility device throughout the queue and inside the theatre.
The route is step-free.
Because guests are admitted in groups between performances, the waiting area can become fairly busy shortly before the doors open.
There is a short pre-show featuring the tiki gods before guests are invited into the main theatre.
Transfer Info
No transfer is required.
Guests using wheelchairs, ECVs or powered mobility devices can remain seated in their device throughout the performance.
Accessible spaces are incorporated into the theatre seating.
Members of your party can normally sit nearby on the surrounding benches, depending on available space for that performance.
There is no ride vehicle, restraint, moving platform or boarding step to negotiate.

Sensory Experience
The Enchanted Tiki Room is physically very gentle, but the show becomes considerably busier as it progresses.
The theatre is dimly lit, with colourful theatrical lighting highlighting different birds, flowers and tiki figures around the room.
Music and singing continue through most of the performance.
Because characters are positioned all around and above the audience, sounds and movement can come from different directions rather than from one fixed stage.
The show gradually builds from a relatively calm introduction into sections where large numbers of Audio-Animatronic birds and flowers are moving and singing at the same time.
The tiki gods sequence is darker and more dramatic, with louder percussion, changing lighting and the sound of thunder.
There are also moments where the room becomes noticeably darker before the lighting changes again.
The finale is loud and energetic compared with the beginning of the show, with multiple characters singing simultaneously.
There is no physical audience movement, 3D imagery, major flashing effect or restraint.
Practical Tips
Wheelchair and ECV users can remain in their mobility device for the entire experience, making this one of the simplest Magic Kingdom attractions from a physical-access point of view.
Because the performance surrounds the audience, there is not really a single “best” viewing position in the same way there would be for a conventional stage show.
The attraction is indoors and air-conditioned once the main theatre opens, so it can be a particularly useful break from the Adventureland heat.
If loud or layered sound is a concern, the later sections are considerably busier than the gentle opening, with multiple voices, music and percussion happening at once.
The tiki-god sequence also represents the biggest change in atmosphere, with darker lighting, thunder and more dramatic sound.
And whatever else changes at Walt Disney World, there remains something reassuring about sitting in a room while dozens of mechanical birds sing at you for fifteen minutes. Long may it continue.
