Overview

Cars Ridge Run Rally is a new high-energy Cars adventure coming to Piston Peak at Magic Kingdom. Guests will set off in off-road vehicles on a rally through rugged national-park-inspired scenery, climbing Piston Peak before racing across ridges, rivers, mud flats and an erupting geyser field. Lightning McQueen and Mater will be following the action from the sidelines as racers compete for the fastest lap in the “wheelderness.”

Queue Details

Queue and accessibility arrangements have not yet been announced. Rolling Coasters will add practical information about the queue route, mobility-device access and loading area as confirmed details become available.

Transfer Info

Boarding and transfer requirements have not yet been confirmed. Disney has revealed that the attraction will use a completely new off-road ride vehicle whose tyres and suspension physically react to the terrain, but accessibility and transfer arrangements have not yet been announced.

Sensory Experience

Cars Ridge Run Rally is expected to be an energetic ride with substantial vehicle movement. Disney says the vehicles will physically travel over uneven terrain, allowing guests to feel bumps, drops and rocks along the route. The course will also include a mountain climb, a camelback descent and an erupting geyser field. Detailed information about speed, sudden movement, heights, sound, water effects and other sensory elements will be added once the finished attraction can be properly assessed.

Practical Tips

The attraction is still under construction, so practical touring information will be added once Disney confirms its opening plans, queue arrangements and operating details.
