Overview
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is a daytime parade through Magic Kingdom celebrating characters and stories from Fantasyland.
Large themed floats travel along the parade route accompanied by dancers, performers and Disney characters from films including Tangled, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid.
The parade is colourful, musical and energetic rather than a passive procession, with performers interacting with guests along the route and characters appearing at different heights across the floats.
The full parade takes around 12 minutes to pass a particular viewing position, although you will normally spend longer waiting beforehand if you want a specific place to watch.
Queue Details
There is no conventional queue.
Guests choose a viewing position somewhere along the parade route before the advertised start time.
Wheelchair and ECV users can remain in their mobility device throughout.
Most of the parade route can be viewed from ordinary pavement or curbside positions, and there are also designated accessible viewing areas for guests with disabilities.
Accessible viewing areas are limited in size and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving shortly before the parade reaches you may mean the dedicated space is already full.
You do not have to use a designated accessible viewing area if you would prefer another suitable position along the route.
Once the parade approaches, pathways around the route can become heavily congested and Cast Members may temporarily restrict crossing points until floats and performers have passed.
Transfer Info
No transfer is required.
Wheelchair, ECV and powered-mobility-device users can remain seated in their device throughout the parade.
There is no fixed seating, ride vehicle or restraint.
Designated accessible viewing areas provide space for mobility devices alongside the parade route.
Depending on demand, Cast Members may limit how many accompanying guests stand inside the accessible viewing area so that there is enough room for wheelchair and ECV users.
If you prefer not to use one of these areas, you can watch from another suitable accessible location along the route.

Sensory Experience
Festival of Fantasy is a busy outdoor parade with loud music, large moving floats and performers passing close to the audience.
Each section has its own soundtrack, so the music and atmosphere change as different floats arrive.
The parade includes large character figures and elevated float elements, some of which can appear particularly imposing when viewed from close to the curb.
Performers dance and move alongside the floats, occasionally approaching or acknowledging guests near the edge of the route.
Music is amplified and can be loud, particularly when a float is directly in front of you.
Crowds often gather several people deep behind the main viewing positions, so the environment can become noisy and tightly packed even before the parade begins.
The parade is outdoors, meaning heat, direct sunlight, humidity and rain can all affect the experience.
There is no physical ride movement or enclosed environment, but the combination of crowd noise, music, large moving scenery and performers arriving from different directions can still create a substantial sensory experience.
Practical Tips
If you want to use a designated accessible viewing area, arrive early rather than waiting until the parade is approaching. These spaces cannot be reserved and can fill on busier days.
A designated area is not automatically the best option for everyone. If you find a comfortable accessible position elsewhere along the route with a clear view, wheelchair and ECV users are not required to move into a specific disability viewing section.
Think about the exit afterwards as well as the view beforehand. When the final float passes, hundreds of people often begin moving at once. Remaining in place for a few minutes can make navigating the pathways in a wheelchair or ECV considerably easier.
If you are sensitive to loud sound, being slightly farther back from the curb can reduce the intensity when speakers and performers pass directly beside you.
Because the parade is outdoors, shade is particularly valuable if you plan to hold a position for a while before it begins. It can get really hot.
Check the current performance time in the Disney app on the day of your visit, as outdoor entertainment can change or be cancelled because of weather.
Somehow a fire-breathing dragon, a pirate ship and an enormous collection of Disney royalty can travel through Magic Kingdom in twelve minutes, while moving ten feet down Main Street after the parade can take considerably longer.
